Prompt Med Urgent Care was founded in July 2013 with a commitment to providing premier medical services to the Northern New Jersey area.  We pride ourselves on offering excellent medical care, with minimal wait times. 

We offer an extensive array of medical services, which include, but are not limited to, pediatrics, women’s services, worker’s compensation/occupation medicine and basic wellness care.  Additionally, we offer on-site x-ray services.  With bilingual, Korean-speaking translators onsite at all times, we welcome those whose native language is Korean.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding our capabilities in treating your medical needs.  We wish you good health.

Our board-certified or board-eligible physicians are accessible when you need us, seven days a week. With a full medical team, we provide fast, effective treatment for most injuries and illnesses. For both visitors and those native to Northern New Jersey, Prompt Med Urgent Care provides many healthcare services that are an affordable, time-saving alternative to the Emergency Room for urgent, non-life-threatening medical care.

The following is a list of clinical conditions that we commonly treat, along with medical services that we offer.  Please note that this list is not exhaustive.  We likely can see other conditions beyond those set forth on this list.  Please feel free to call us before coming in if you are not certain whether we can treat your condition.  If you are experiencing any serious, life-threatening symptoms, please call 911 immediately.

Do you treat walk-in patients?

Yes, we treat walk-in patients.  No appointment is necessary to be a patient at Prompt Med Urgent Care.

I do not have insurance; will you still treat me?

We highly encourage insurance plans, but if you do not have insurance we will still treat you.  However, you would have to pay out-of-pocket.

If I do not live in Fort Lee, NJ, will you still treat me?

Yes, we treat out-of-town patients, as well as patients living in surrounding areas.

Are you open on the weekend?

Yes, we are open on weekends.  Our hours of operation are Saturday and Sunday, 9 am - 5 pm.

What services does Prompt Med Urgent Care provide?

What are the hours of operation for Prompt Med Urgent Care?

Our hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 11 am - 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 9 am - 5 pm; we are closed on Wednesday.

How do I know if I need to go to Prompt Med Urgent Care or the ER?

If you feel that your condition is life-threatening, then you need to be seen in a hospital Emergency Room and should call 911.

Do you provide X-Rays at your facility?

Do you take insurance, and what forms of payment do you accept?

We accept most major insurance plans.  Please see our Insurance and Fees page for more information.

What age groups does Prompt Med Urgent Care treat?

We treat patients of all ages.  From pediatrics to senior citizens, we are equipped to treat a myriad of medical conditions and minor emergencies.

Who will care for me?

Prompt Med Urgent Care is staffed with experienced, board-certified or board-eligible physicians who will see you.

How long will I have to wait?

Patients are generally treated on a first-come, first-served basis.  Every attempt will be made to see you in a timely fashion.  Wait times are based on the number of patients seeking care and the seriousness of their symptoms.  Additionally, appointments may be made using ZipPass.

Office Entrance and Parking:

Prompt Med Urgent Care is located on the corner of Bridge Plaza North and Lemoine Avenue.

From River Road Northbound:

Turn onto River Road. Continue onto Main Street. Continue onto Hudson Terrace. Turn left onto Merkle Street. Turn left onto Central Road. Central Road turns right and becomes Bridge Plaza North/Cross Street. Prompt Med Urgent Care is located on the corner of Bridge Plaza North and Lemoine Avenue.

From Interstate 95 East:

Take 95 East to exit 73 toward NJ-67/Fort Lee. Merge onto U.S. 9 North and take the exit toward NJ-67/Fort Lee. Merge onto Martha Washington Highway. Turn right onto Bruce Reynolds Boulevard. Take the 1st right onto Lemoine Avenue. Take the 1st right onto Bridge Plaza North/Cross Street. Prompt Med Urgent Care will be on the left, located on the corner of Bridge Plaza North and Lemoine Avenue.

Follow signs to 95 East. The follow directions from 95 East.

From US-9W Southbound:

Head south on US-9W South/Hillside Avenue toward Oak Tree Road. Continue to follow US-9W South entering New Jersey. Turn left onto the Palisades Parkway South ramp. Merge onto Palisades Interstate Parkway South. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 95 North/George Washington Bridge/New York/Hudson Terrace. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Hudson Terrace. Turn left onto Hudson Terrace. Turn right onto Merkle Street. Turn left onto Central Road. Central Road turns right and becomes Bridge Plaza North/Cross Street. Prompt Med Urgent Care is located on the corner of Bridge Plaza North and Lemoine Avenue.

From George Washington Bridge Westbound:

Take exit 73 toward US-9W/NJ-67/Fort Lee. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Hudson Terrace. Turn left onto Hudson Terrace. Take the 1st left onto Merkle Street. Turn left onto Central Road. Central Road turns right and becomes Bridge Plaza North/Cross Street. Prompt Med Urgent Care is located on the corner of Bridge Plaza North and Lemoine Avenue.
